About Gold Standard Auctions
Gold Standard Auctions is a national coin auction house, selling rare coins, currency, and bullion to bidders across the country every week of the year. We run live webcast auctions on the major bidding platforms, and our mission has stayed the same since the first hammer: give collectors reliable access to coins that are hard to find, and give sellers a market that pays what coins are actually worth.
What We Sell, and Where
Our catalogs run from half cents to double eagles: early copper and silver type, Morgan and Peace dollars, Bust half collections, certified key dates, pre-1933 gold, world and ancient coinage, US paper money, and modern bullion. Sales run weekly on HiBid, where bidders can join any live webcast session or leave absentee bids, and our catalogs also reach collectors through LiveAuctioneers, where more than a thousand of our past catalogs are archived, Bidsquare, and Invaluable. A typical week carries two sales and a few thousand lots between them.
How We Work
Auction houses earn trust one lot at a time, so we keep the rules plain. Most lots open at $5 and the market decides where they land. Every coin is photographed and described honestly, with third-party certification from services such as NGC and PCGS where it matters. Every completed sale publishes its prices realized, in public, linked from this site. And when you call (972) 800-6456, a person answers: a bidder question, a consignment question, or a family holding a collection they never asked to inherit all get the same straight treatment. Registration is free and takes only a few minutes, bidding is open to collectors anywhere in the country, and settlement, invoicing, and shipping follow right after every sale, so you deal with one house from your first bid to final delivery.
Buyers can start with the auction calendar and the bidding guide. Sellers can read how consignment works or skip straight to the phone. And collectors who just want to learn will find the Learning Center free of sales pitch. Our weekly coin auctions speak for the rest.
The House
Our specialists work from a secured gallery at 13859 Diplomat Dr Suite 150, Dallas, TX 75234, where every lot is cataloged, photographed, and stored before it sells. Consignment reviews start with a phone call so the right specialist is on hand; the contact page has phones and email. Whether you send a single slabbed dollar or the accumulation of a lifetime, you get the same thing from us: a careful look, a plain answer, and a national market that treats your coins the way you have.
