What Led the July 16-19, 2026 Sale
The 1849 Oregon Exchange $5 Gold Half Eagle, NGC AU53 took the top of the board at $125,000, ahead of the 1851 Schultz $5 Gold Half Eagle, NTC XF45 at $125,000 and the 1796 13 Leaves $10 Gold Eagle, Choice BU at $77,500. Gold carried the entire board, which is typical of our sales. 4 of the leaders were third-party certified; the rest sold raw on the strength of the photographs and honest descriptions.
