What Led the July 27-29, 2026 Sale
The 2012 1 oz Gold American Eagle $50, Gem BU took the top of the board at $4,200, ahead of the 1927 $20 Saint-Gaudens Gold Double Eagle, Choice BU at $3,900 and the 1904 Liberty Head $20 Gold Double Eagle, Uncirculated at $3,800. Gold carried 7 of the 10 top lots, which is typical of our sales. 2 of the leaders were third-party certified; the rest sold raw on the strength of the photographs and honest descriptions.
