Consignment sales like this one are where the deepest bidding shows up, because the strongest coins pull registered bidders from every corner of the national market. The same reach works for a single coin as for a full collection. How these numbers come about is covered in our guide to how coin auctions work, and the coin grading guide explains the certified and raw grades used in the descriptions above.
